Window Washing at a 2-story house in Long Grove on Blue Stem Court. 101 windows cleaned. Completed by our Arlington Heights team.
— Arlington Heights crew
Long Grove properties have a way of running large — the lots are deep, the trees are established, and the houses themselves tend toward the generous side. This two-story home was no exception. With 101 windows to clean inside and out and 50 screens to pull and wash, it was a full day's commitment before the first squeegee touched glass. The scale alone — oversized windows on the interior that required a ladder to reach — signaled early that this was a job that would reward patience and method over speed.
Our technician was on-site at eight in the morning and worked straight through the day. The exterior got handled systematically, floor by floor, while the interior work meant setting up a ladder repeatedly for the tall oversized windows that couldn't be reached from the floor. Every one of the 50 screens came off, went through a wash, and went back into place. The rhythm of a job this size is its own discipline — there's no shortcutting 101 windows without it showing somewhere, so the pace stayed deliberate from the first frame to the last. The crew wrapped at around five o'clock, nine hours after starting, with the invoice sent once the day was closed out.

Common questions from Long Grove homeowners researching Window Washing.
This 101-window job on a two-story home in Long Grove came in at $990, which included both interior and exterior cleaning plus 50 screens. For similarly sized homes in the Chicago North Shore area, full interior-and-exterior window washing typically runs between $600 and $1,100 depending on window count, accessibility, and screen cleaning.
A job this size — 101 windows cleaned inside and out on a two-story home — generally takes a crew a full day to complete properly. That accounts for setting up ladders, working safely at height, and cleaning all 50 screens without rushing.
On this project, every window was cleaned on both the inside and outside surfaces, and all 50 screens were removed, washed, and reinstalled. Frames and sills are wiped down as part of the process, so the finished result is a complete clean rather than just the glass.
Screens are included when you book an interior-and-exterior service — this Long Grove home had 50 screens cleaned alongside all 101 windows. If you're booking exterior-only service, screens can still be added on for an additional charge. For a quote, call our Arlington Heights team at (847) 807-1454.
