The neighborhood runs through mature street trees that drop hard — oak leaves, seed pods, the occasional shingle grit from older rooflines nearby — and by the time we arrived the troughs were carrying a heavy load.
We worked the full perimeter, clearing packed leaf matter from the channels and flushing each section to confirm flow. The downspouts were the real hold-up: at least one was blocked solid enough to require clearing from below before water would move through freely. Once the obstructions were out, we ran water through the entire system to verify it drained clean end to end. The job wrapped with the gutters open and the downspouts running the way they're supposed to, ready for whatever rain the season brings next.
