The owners had Pella storm windows throughout, layered over the primary sash, which meant every opening involved working two separate panes of glass — both inside and out. With 82 windows across three floors, 41 storm panels, and 28 screens to wash, the scope was substantial before we'd even factored in the condition of the glass itself.
Calcium buildup was the main obstacle. Hard water deposits had settled into the Pella storms at multiple levels, and the upper-floor units required careful positioning to reach safely on a house that tall. We worked through the storms methodically — panels off, treated for mineral scale, squeegeed clean, reset — then turned to the primary windows, interior and exterior. The 28 screens went through a thorough wash before going back in place. Height slowed the pace on the top floor, but we didn't cut corners on the reach. Invoice sent once the last storm panel was seated.
