If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website, request services, book services, make a payment, or receive services arranged through My Window Washing.

My Window Washing is engaged in the home services and cleaning business, including customer acquisition, advertising, booking, scheduling coordination, customer communication, payment collection, customer support, and provider network administration.
2. Services
My Window Washing offers, books, coordinates, or arranges residential and commercial services that may include, without limitation:
- window washing;
- interior window cleaning;
- exterior window cleaning;
- screen cleaning;
- track and sill cleaning;
- gutter cleaning;
- pressure washing;
- power washing;
- house washing;
- solar panel cleaning;
- ice dam removal;
- commercial cleaning;
- related exterior cleaning services;
- related home-services and property-maintenance services.
The availability of any service depends on location, weather, property conditions, provider availability, access, safety conditions, equipment availability, customer information, and other business or operational factors.
We may modify, refuse, reschedule, limit, or cancel a service when reasonably necessary.
3. Independent Service Providers
Some services booked through My Window Washing may be performed by Chicago Home Services, Inc., CHS personnel, CHS-controlled resources, or independently owned and operated service-provider companies in the My Window Washing provider network.
When an independent service provider company is assigned to perform field services, that provider is the contractor of record for the field work. The provider is responsible for its own workers, crews, supervision, tools, vehicles, insurance, payroll, taxes, safety practices, field methods, workmanship, and legal compliance.
My Window Washing may handle customer acquisition, booking, scheduling coordination, customer communication, payment collection, customer support, refunds, credits, and administrative matters. These activities do not make My Window Washing the employer of the provider’s workers or the supervisor of the provider’s field methods.
My Window Washing may communicate with customers under the My Window Washing name even when an independent provider performs the field services.
4. Booking and Scheduling
You may request a quote or book a service through our website, by phone, by text message, by email, through online booking tools, or through other approved communication methods.
A booking is not guaranteed until accepted, confirmed, or scheduled by My Window Washing.
Service dates, arrival windows, and completion times are estimates only. They may be affected by weather, traffic, route changes, provider availability, property access, unsafe conditions, customer changes, equipment issues, or other circumstances.
We may contact you before, during, or after a booking to confirm details, request additional information, update pricing, reschedule, process payment, address service issues, request feedback, or provide customer support.
5. Customer Information and Accuracy
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:
- name;
- phone number;
- email address;
- service address;
- billing information;
- property type;
- requested service;
- number and type of windows, screens, gutters, surfaces, or other service items;
- access instructions;
- gate codes or entry information;
- parking instructions;
- water or electricity availability, if needed;
- information about pets;
- known hazards or unsafe conditions;
- fragile items;
- defective glass;
- loose screens;
- broken seals;
- rotted wood;
- old paint;
- leaks;
- alarm systems;
- restricted areas;
- pre-existing property damage or unusual property conditions.
If the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete, or changes after booking, we may revise the quote, change the service scope, reschedule, cancel, or charge additional amounts.
6. Quotes, Estimates, and Pricing
Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time they are provided.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, quotes are estimates and may change based on actual property conditions, service scope, access issues, safety concerns, number of items, size, height, condition, contamination level, special equipment needs, provider availability, or customer-requested changes.
Additional charges may apply for:
- additional windows, screens, storms, tracks, panes, skylights, mirrors, glass doors, or other service items;
- excessive dirt, paint, debris, stickers, tape, adhesive, construction residue, hard-water buildup, mineral deposits, oxidation, or neglected surfaces;
- difficult access;
- ladder work;
- roof access;
- gutter conditions;
- heavy debris;
- second-story or higher work;
- commercial properties;
- special equipment;
- same-day, rush, or special scheduling requests;
- parking, tolls, permits, or access fees;
- return visits caused by customer access issues;
- customer-requested changes after booking;
- work outside the original service scope.
We may decline to perform any service if the property conditions, safety conditions, or requested work are outside the agreed scope or are not suitable for service.
7. Payment
Payment is due as stated at the time of booking, on the invoice, on the payment page, in the booking confirmation, or as otherwise communicated by My Window Washing.
My Window Washing may collect payment directly from customers for services booked through My Window Washing. When a service is performed by an independent provider, My Window Washing may collect payment as a booking, payment-processing, customer-service, and payment-collection administrator for the assigned provider.
Payment through My Window Washing satisfies your payment obligation for the booked services to the extent of the amount received.
We may use third-party payment processors. By making a payment, you agree to comply with the payment processor’s applicable terms and authorize the payment method you provide to be charged for the agreed amount, including any approved additional charges, fees, credits, refunds, or adjustments.
Returned payments, failed payments, chargebacks, or payment disputes may result in additional charges, collection activity, cancellation of future services, or refusal of additional bookings.
8. Tips
Tips are voluntary.
If you give a tip directly to a provider, crew, technician, or worker, that tip belongs to the recipient or provider.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, My Window Washing does not require tips, does not charge a fee on tips paid directly to providers, and does not guarantee how independently paid tips are distributed by independent service providers.
9. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Access Issues
You should notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
We may charge a cancellation, rescheduling, trip, or access fee if:
- you cancel after a service has already been scheduled or routed;
- the provider or crew arrives and cannot access the property;
- gates are locked;
- required water or electricity is unavailable;
- pets are unsecured;
- the customer is unavailable when required;
- parking or building access is unavailable;
- the service cannot be completed because of inaccurate or incomplete customer information;
- unsafe conditions prevent the service from being performed;
- the customer requests a change after arrival that prevents or delays service.
We may reschedule or cancel service due to weather, safety concerns, equipment issues, provider availability, property conditions, or other operational reasons.
10. Weather and Outdoor Conditions
Some services depend on weather and outdoor conditions. Rain, snow, ice, high winds, freezing temperatures, extreme heat, lightning, poor visibility, slippery surfaces, unsafe access, or other weather-related conditions may require rescheduling, delay, limitation, or cancellation.
Weather-related dirt, pollen, dust, debris, water spots, re-soiling, streaking, runoff, or outdoor contamination that occurs after service completion is generally outside our control and may not qualify for a free re-clean, credit, or refund.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Before service begins, you are responsible for:
- providing safe and reasonable access to the service areas;
- removing fragile, valuable, or breakable items from window sills and nearby areas;
- raising blinds or window coverings where needed;
- unlocking gates, doors, or other access points;
- securing pets;
- identifying known damage or unsafe conditions;
- identifying alarm systems or restricted areas;
- providing water or electricity when required;
- ensuring that the work area is reasonably free of hazards;
- obtaining any required HOA, landlord, building, property-manager, parking, or access approval;
- notifying us of any restrictions, building rules, customer preferences, or special requirements.
If you fail to satisfy these responsibilities, the service may be limited, rescheduled, cancelled, or subject to additional charges.
12. Service Limitations
Unless expressly agreed in writing, services do not include:
- repair or replacement of glass, windows, gutters, screens, frames, seals, caulking, roofs, siding, or building materials;
- removal of hard-water etching;
- correction of defective glass;
- correction of broken window seals;
- correction of pre-existing scratches, cracks, leaks, stains, oxidation, corrosion, rotted wood, loose paint, defective caulking, or improper installation;
- construction cleanup;
- hazardous material removal;
- mold, lead, asbestos, biohazard, or chemical remediation;
- pest removal;
- access to unsafe areas;
- moving heavy furniture or fixtures;
- removal or reinstallation of security bars, storm windows, specialty screens, shutters, fragile decorations, window treatments, or other items unless expressly agreed;
- work requiring specialized permits, licenses, equipment, or safety procedures unless expressly agreed.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damage caused by defective, aged, loose, improperly installed, deteriorated, or unsafe materials.
13. Safety and Right to Refuse Service
Safety is a condition of service.
We or the assigned provider may refuse, stop, limit, reschedule, or cancel service if any condition appears unsafe, unlawful, unreasonable, or outside the agreed scope.
This may include, without limitation:
- unsafe ladders or access points;
- steep, wet, icy, unstable, or damaged surfaces;
- unsafe roof conditions;
- loose gutters;
- damaged windows;
- aggressive animals;
- exposed wiring;
- hazardous materials;
- severe weather;
- unsafe parking or traffic conditions;
- hostile or threatening conduct;
- any condition that creates unreasonable risk of injury, property damage, or legal violation.
14. Service Guarantee
We want customers to be satisfied with eligible services.
If you are not satisfied with an eligible completed service, you must notify us within 7 days after service completion. Depending on the circumstances, My Window Washing may arrange a re-clean, correction, credit, or refund.
The service guarantee does not apply to:
- conditions outside the original service scope;
- pre-existing damage;
- defective glass;
- broken seals;
- hard-water etching;
- mineral deposits;
- oxidation;
- construction debris;
- paint, tape, adhesive, stickers, or overspray;
- unsafe or inaccessible areas;
- customer-requested exclusions;
- weather-related re-soiling;
- pollen, dust, debris, rain, snow, wind, sprinklers, or landscaping runoff after service;
- conditions caused by third parties;
- services where the customer failed to provide access or accurate information;
- services where the customer declined recommended work or requested a limited scope.
Refunds, credits, or re-cleans are limited to the specific service area at issue and are not automatic. We reserve the right to inspect, request photos, verify the issue, and determine the appropriate remedy.
15. Damage Claims
Any claim for property damage must be reported as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after service completion, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
You must provide reasonable documentation, which may include photos, videos, access to inspect, receipts, repair estimates, and a description of the claimed damage.
We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, defective materials, normal wear and tear, improper installation, deterioration, weather, hidden defects, customer instructions, or third parties.
Do not repair, replace, discard, or alter the claimed damaged item before we or the assigned provider have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect, unless immediate repair is necessary to prevent further damage or address a safety issue.
16. Photos, Videos, and Service Documentation
My Window Washing or the assigned provider may take photos, videos, notes, or other documentation before, during, or after service for purposes including:
- confirming access;
- documenting property condition;
- documenting service scope;
- documenting completion;
- customer support;
- quality control;
- dispute resolution;
- insurance claims;
- training;
- internal business records;
- marketing, if permitted.
We will use reasonable efforts not to publish identifying images of private property interiors, personal items, license plates, people, children, or sensitive information without permission.
17. Communications, Calls, Texts, and Emails
By submitting a form, requesting a quote, booking a service, calling us, texting us, emailing us, or otherwise providing your contact information, you authorize Chicago Home Services, Inc. d/b/a My Window Washing to contact you by phone, text message, email, voicemail, automated message, or other communication method regarding your inquiry, quote, booking, service, payment, customer support, review request, or related matters.
Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP or contacting us directly.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not required as a condition of purchasing services. Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent where permitted by law.
18. Privacy

19. Customer Reviews and Testimonials

By submitting a review, testimonial, photo, comment, or other content to us, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, publish, display, edit for length or formatting, and share that content in connection with our business, website, advertising, social media, customer communications, and review platforms, unless prohibited by law or expressly agreed otherwise.
We do not knowingly publish fake reviews or require positive reviews as a condition of receiving service.

For jobs where a written contract, work order, consumer-rights brochure, acknowledgment, or other notice is required by law, we or the assigned provider may require additional documents before work begins.
If additional legal paperwork is required and not completed, we may delay, reschedule, or cancel the service.
24. No Professional Advice
Information on our website, blog, emails, texts, estimates, and customer communications is provided for general informational and service-related purposes only.
It is not legal, engineering, architectural, structural, environmental, insurance, tax, or professional advice.
You are responsible for consulting the appropriate professional for property-specific, legal, structural, safety, insurance, or compliance questions.
25. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may link to third-party websites, payment processors, review platforms, maps, scheduling systems, social media pages, or other services.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, content, security, availability, or practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a booked service shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chicago Home Services, Inc. d/b/a My Window Washing, its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, service providers, vendors, and representatives from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement for a specific service, the signed written agreement controls for that service.
