Window Washing at a 2-story house in Park Ridge on Windsor Mall. 12 windows cleaned. Completed by our Chicago team.
— Chicago crew
Park Ridge sits in that quiet belt of established neighborhoods west of the city, where mature landscaping has had decades to fill in. The two-story house we came to had exactly that character — overgrown shrubs pressed up close to the foundation and branching out across the window lines, the kind of growth that makes a straightforward window job considerably less so. The customer wanted a full interior and exterior clean on all 12 windows, and we quoted on-site before picking up a squeegee.
We started at noon, working around the shrubs and low branches that crowded nearly every window on the lower level. Getting the glass clean wasn't the challenge — the maneuvering was. Positioning to reach the panes, keeping tools clear of branches, and making sure we didn't rush a frame wipe or track cleaning just because the access was awkward all added time to each stop. Every window got the full treatment: frames wiped, tracks cleaned out, glass done inside and out. Three hours total, which the landscaping more than accounted for. Invoice sent once the job was wrapped.

For a 2-story house in Park Ridge, a typical window cleaning job runs between $150 and $300 depending on window count and access. This 12-window job, cleaned inside and out, came in at $200, which is right in the middle of that range for a home this size.
A 12-window inside-and-out cleaning on a 2-story home generally takes a professional crew 2 to 3 hours. On this job, overgrown bushes and trees along the exterior added a bit of time to navigate safely, but the work was still completed in a single visit.
Inside-and-out service means we clean both the interior glass and the exterior glass on every window included in the job. We wipe down frames and sills as part of the process, so you're not left with clean glass sitting in a dirty frame.
