Window Washing at a 3-story house in Chicago on West North Shore Avenue. 26 windows cleaned. Completed by our Chicago team.
— Chicago crew
A three-story house in Chicago's north side had recently been fitted with 26 Pella Lifestyle windows throughout — new units, double-hung, the kind of installation a homeowner wants to see done right the first time. The customer made a point of mentioning what they were: a significant investment, and understandably they wanted the first cleaning handled carefully.
We arrived at nine and took a few minutes to get familiar with the Pella Lifestyle hardware before touching anything — the tilt-in sashes, the integrated storm panels, the way the frames were finished. With 26 windows across three stories, the upper floors required deliberate setup each time we repositioned. Each window got the full treatment: storm panel cleaned, interior and exterior glass worked in sequence, frames wiped down. The design of the Lifestyle series cooperated well once we understood it. We finished the full in-and-out pass clean, confirmed everything was closed and latched correctly, and wrapped up before the afternoon.

Common questions from Chicago homeowners researching Window Washing.
This 26-window job on a 3-story Chicago home ran $800, which is typical for a house of that height and scale when cleaning both interior and exterior. For most 3-story homes in the Chicago area, expect to pay somewhere between $600 and $950 depending on window count, accessibility, and whether storm windows are included.
A job this size — 26 windows cleaned inside and out, including storm windows on a very tall house — generally runs a full day for a professional crew. The extra height on a 3-story property adds time because it requires ladders and careful repositioning between every section of the house.
On this project we cleaned all 26 windows interior and exterior, and that included the storm windows as a standard part of the service. Storm window panels are removed, cleaned on both sides, and reinstalled so you're not left with a hazy layer of glass between you and a clean view.
We clean every window on the house, including the uppermost floor — this job involved a very tall 3-story structure and all 26 windows were completed top to bottom. Our crew uses professional extension ladders and the right equipment to reach third-floor windows safely without cutting corners on the upper levels.
