A two-story house in Chicago's northwest side, sitting on a 1,200-square-foot footprint, had reached the point where the gutters needed more than a routine pass. Fall and seasonal debris had built up enough that water wasn't moving the way it should, and the downspouts had taken the worst of it. The kind of blockage that doesn't announce itself until a heavy rain backs everything up and starts working against the fascia.
Our technician arrived at noon and got straight to it. The gutters themselves were cleared of debris, but the real work was at the downspouts — several had clogged elbows that required individual attention to free up the flow. Once those were cleared and running properly, he turned to the garage gutters and cleaned those out as well. The whole job wrapped in an hour, with everything moving clean by the time he left.
